About Dotty

Kind Words
My adult daughter, Casey, has a developmental disability. We live together and I am all she has. I felt tired, sad, and angry often and couldn't shake the feeling. My friend introduced me to Dotty and since working with her, I see life differently with Casey. Still not easy but my perspective has changed for the better.
-Brenda S. My life is different from my friends and family. My son lives in a group home four hours away. It's not great but it is what has to be for now as I am still raising my other children and working. My sessions with Dotty helped me process the grief over my decision. Best work I've done in a long time. Also met other moms who I now consider life long friends - Linda A. |
Kind WordsFor years I worried about our son with an intellectual disability. He 's 29 and has caregivers helping him with showers, cooking, cleaning but he's so lonely. He wants friends. I've tried to help him as much as I can but it's not enough. I've been working with Dotty for a few months and I can now hold the concern but not in a debilitating way I once did. I've been able to separate myself from my concern for my son in a way I never could before. -Carin H.
I feel happier, more joyful than I have in a long, long time. Thanks, Dotty. You've changed my outlook. -Rachael R. |
